CAREER OPPORTUNITIES — History Majors

The study of history has long been recognized as central to a liberal arts education and has served as a foundation for successful careers in many fields. Although the study of history is most often associated with careers in law, public service, teaching and the academic world, the skills learned through historical study have proven useful in a great variety of callings, ranging from city administrator to foreign service representative or museum curator. Many history majors proceed directly to law school or a graduate program.
